A new baby! Congratulations. Middle Killeavy Parish welcomes your child into the Christian Community in the Sacrament of Baptism.

Firstly, we want to congratulate you on the birth of your child. We also want to welcome this new born child into our Parish Community.

Your baby's baptism will be a special moment for you and your family. It will also be a special moment for our parish as we welcome your child in the Christian Community.

Procedures

1. Booking
Contact one of the Parish Team or Sacristan, giving 2 weeks notice, fill in the Baptism Card, and return it to the Church or Parochial Houses.
2. Baptismal Visit
In the week prior to the baptism ceremony, Srs. Elsie or Brenda will call to talk to you about the meaning and details of the ceremony.
3. Baptismal Ceremony
Ceremony takes place on the 1st, 3rd, 5th Saturdays of the month @ 6 pm in St. Mary of the Assumption Church.
4. There is no charge for a Baptism; it is customary, however, to leave an offering for the Church with the priest after the ceremony concludes.
