The Parish Core Group came into being in March 2004, after a process of invitation and discussion within the parish community.  The group consists of twelve members as well as the Parish Ministry team.

The purpose of the core group is best defined by our mission statement, which clearly states that, Our Mission, as Laity, Priests and Sisters is to build a Christian Community, to be appreciative of the gifts of its members, enabling them to serve the needs and concerns of our parish and wider community.

We have set ourselves three objectives for the next twelve months.

• To develop a Youth policy
• To develop an enhanced Liturgical Policy
• To develop a Faith Formation Policy

We currently have three teams within the Core Group working on these tasks.
