Many activities are centred in "Canal View Community House" in 15 Quayside Close: • Wonder Years, Parent and Toddler Group • Educational Courses • Childrens disco • Womens group • Leisure Activities • Seasonal parties and summer schemes
Committee meetings take place on the first and third Thursdays of the month.

 Established in March 2004 in response to issues raised at parish area meetings. Its aim is community building by involving community members in: • organising activities for youth and children • lobbying to have a play area for children. • trying to procure a community base for meetings and activities • involvement in community festivals • seasonal parties and summer schemes • participation in training courses  Committee meetings take place in the Marist Sisters' house in 15 Martins Lane on the first Tuesday of the month.
